What is PAWS?


Proficiency Assessments for Wyoming Students (PAWS) is the assessment system developed by the Wyoming Department of Education in cooperation with Harcourt Assessment, Inc. The instructionally supportive design of PAWS presents a palette of information focusing on individual student growth and performance. Assessments in PAWS include reading, writing, math, and science.
