Atomic Learning tech tutorials

How can Atomic Learning help my student and I?

Atomic Learning is a large collection of video-based tutorials for PC and Macintosh software.  Tutorials include such topics as Windows and Mac OS X, using Microsoft Office and OpenOffice, and using many other different software titles.  There are also tutorials on keeping your computer secure and maintained.

Some uses for Atomic Learning at home include:

If you're working at home with software and can't remember how to perform a certain task, you can watch a short video clip that directly answers your question by walking you through performing the task, complete with audio narration.
If you'd like to learn how to use a software title you've purchased, you can watch the Atomic Learning tutorials in order from start to finish.
Learn how to do something new, like start a blog or post to a wiki.

Students and staff working on District computers can access Atomic Learning tutorials directly from the Student Start Page, or from VINCent for staff.

How to access Atomic Learning

Parent and student access to Atomic Learning requires a generic username and password, to ensure that you are a valid paid subscriber to the service.

Due to our agreement with Atomic Learning, we cannot post the generic account on the Public Website.  This is so others outside our community cannot also use these same resources.

To obtain the account, please contact your school's Media Center director.

Once you have the account, click here to access Atomic Learning's tutorial list.
